Our technology team was invited to present five Breakout EDU workshop sessions at the 2017 NCTIES Conference. I will admit I didn't think these sessions would be very well attended as there were seven concurrent Breakout EDU sessions in addition to our five workshop sessions. I was wrong. Each of the five sessions was packed and we even ran a couple of games out in the hallway in most of our sessions. We received very positive feedback from the participants and had several folks contact us afterwards for more information.
We presented a game from the Breakout EDU website called Time Warp, shared the Breakout EDU website and Facebook groups, and then presented resources that can be used when creating puzzles/clues/games.
Here is our presentation. Reach out if you'd like more information.
