Quizizz is a formative assessment tool similar to Kahoot except students work at their own pace. Reports are available. Just for fun try it here. Use code 57123
(This code expires 12/23/16.)

Lisa Mckee shared Nasa.gov site with me. Great videos, information, and live coverage of current space related events.

Timer Tab is a web-based timer, alarm clock, and stopwatch that allows you to link videos as your alarm.  When time is up the video plays.

You should now see the Bloomboard app when you login to NCedcloud.  “This platform is designed to empower educator growth and development.  Users will have the capability to develop personal learning plans and access a wide variety of professional development content from the marketplace, all tailored to the needs and goals of the individual.”  After you log-in you can search for resources.  Set your preferences to grade level, subject, and cost range. I choose FREE.

Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas filled with love and laughter!

Great way to make global connections. Sign up and compare holidays around the world. Watch the video at the site for more info.

Got some “free” time in your class? Rather than telling students to “play”, consider giving them a purpose with specific sites/activities. (Perhaps it’ll keep them out of trouble :)
Coding is a great safe activity that incorporates differentiated engaged learning, critical thinking, problem solving, math, reading, sequencing, cause/effect, collaboration, creating, perseverance, and celebrating success!

Here are a couple of sites you can direct students to.  Let me know if you need more.
